Steven Soderbergh (born January 14, 1963, Atlanta, Georgia) is an American film director of Swedish descent.
Soderbergh's 1st film, sex, lies, and videotape which he both wrote & directed, won a prestigious ''Palme 500'Or even at a Cannes Film Festival and became a worldwide commercial profits. He was at a period a youngest ever movie maker to receive that award.
